This first post that you are reading right now is about creating that chocolate breakfast dreams on days when you don’t want to spend too much time with the preparation and maybe don’t have time to eat at home because you are too busy being outside the house to explore our beautiful planet. Of course you still want to provide your body with the nutrient densest foods possible that it deserves. And that is possible. I truly think that it’s actually a beautiful idea to be able to enjoy even food that is made quick and easy with that special mindfulness in love and full of gratitude.
The fast and practical option for your daily breakfast: A smoothie bowl that is actually low in fruits and provides your body not only with these special chocolate superfood nutrients, but also with a healthy amount of protein. Nevertheless, these proteinbowls are are still a great food choice after and also before your sweaty workout. Your muscles and tastebuds will thank you.
This bowl looks extra colorful, but the preparation is a thing that won’t take you more than 10 minutes. Mix your banana with the soy yogurt and the special spoon of ‘chocolate lover’. Then mix it and fill the protein rich mixture into your favorite bowl. Now you can go crazy with the toppings, add all the tropical fruit, all the seasonal fruit, dried fruit, seeds, nutbutter and energy bars. The most fun way to eat is to add on frozen berries, cacao powder and sweetener later as soon as there is room in your protein bowl. Sometimes I even add a protein powder afterwards.
During a busy week I usually enjoy my first meal at school. But even on the weekends I love biting into yummy raw energy bars during my workout – before the actual breakfast can start. No matter if as an appetizer or as a breakfast. Raw energy bars are fast to prepare and an easy food option when you are on the go. Especially in combination with fresh fruits. Every now and then I even love drinking smoothies in the coldest wintertime. Well, that recipe is not a fruity smoothie, but an incredibly delicious chocolate milkshake. And when we start talking about the nutrients: This shake is probably even able to provide you with as many nutrients as a green smoothie would. That chocolate milkshake would definitely have the magical power to turn your morning into a super sweet one within the shortest amount of time. After I tried that milkshake for the first time I was completely blown away by the heavenly taste. I will definitely have it a lot more often.
Just mix all the ingredients for the shake at once – and don’t worry, it works. After that you can fill that liquid, brown gold into your favorite jar and decorate it with more hazelnuts, chocolate, chiaseeds or ice cubes. Can you see that massive ice cube in the background of the picture haha? That’s my kind of surprise! If you enjoy the double chocolate taste you can create your own chocolate sauce simply out of cacao powder and soy milk to add on to your breakfast shake later. Honestly, since tasting that goodness for the first time I am finally convinced by the idea that liquid breakfast options can truly be a real breakfast dream!
